The TechnoDrill is a mobile rig designed for fast, clean installation of closed loop ground source heat pump systems. We drill a 4-3/4 hole up to 300 feet deep. The turbo diesel engine makes this a compact and very maneuverable rig with low noise and reduced emissions.
The rig is lighter and far more maneuverable than many comparable drills, and, combined with the rubber encased tracks, makes it possible to move over finished surfaces without causing damage. With a powerful, high-torque auger, this drill can tackle all types of ground for geothermal installation needs.
We have the ability to contain the drilling fluids with our Ditch Witch FX30, 800-gallon vacuum. The FX30 vacuum excavator is equipped with a lengthy list of standard features including a curbside operator’s station that allows single-operator control and more than enough water pressure and suction to perform a myriad of cleanup and soft excavation tasks.
